Develop a defensible workflow for device identification, condition checking, risk assessment, documentation and escalation.
MRI Implant Safety develops the practical skills needed to investigate implants and other devices before MRI. Learners follow a structured pathway from device identification and evidence gathering to interpretation of MR safety labelling, scan-condition planning, documentation and escalation.
Particular attention is given to field strength, spatial field gradient, RF conditions including SAR and B1+rms, gradient limits, coil restrictions, scan-time limits, device configuration and the management of incomplete or conflicting information.
MRI radiographers, MRI safety leads, superintendent radiographers, radiologists, medical physics professionals and staff involved in implant investigation or authorisation.
Case-led live online or departmental teaching with practical condition-checking exercises, manufacturer-document review and downloadable workflow resources.
Participants receive an Imaging360 Academy Certificate of Participation..
